Aventura's layout centers on Aventura Mall, one of the biggest malls in the United States. Near the Intracoastal, rows of low-rise townhouses give way to condo high-rises, and many of those include boat slips and shared amenity decks. At the center of the city sits Turnberry Isle, now the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, home to two 18-hole courses (Soffer and Miller) and a spa. The Don Soffer Exercise Trail runs around the course for about three miles, alongside Country Club Drive. Parks beside the waterways and paved paths connect the residential areas. Aventura Express, a free shuttle, covers three routes across the city. The Brightline Aventura station sits on West Dixie Highway, just outside the western city limits.
