Miami World Center is moving with its retail street Promenade!

700 NE 1 st ave , Miami World Center

The construction permit was filed. According to the filing, a total of 41,164 square feet of general commercial will be built over two stories.

According to Worldcenter, the building will have one level of creative retail on the ground floor, and creative office on the second floor. An earlier plan to build a three story structure on the same site has been scrapped.

Total construction cost of the new building is listed at $8.5 million.

The 7th Street Promenade which the new building will line is already complete.There is also retail space lining the south side of the promenade, although there are no tenants yet.

Another retail building will also begin construction soon at Worldcenter’s Block F East. Construction is expected to begin very soon.
