CMC Group’s newly completed Brickell Flatiron condominium in Downtown Miami’s Brickell Financial District has successfully closed on four upper penthouse residences totaling $31.6 million in finalized sales over the last 90 days. The 64-story tower, built by CMC Group founder and veteran Miami developer Ugo Colombo, was delivered in November 2019, and over 90% of its contracts have already been closed. Approximately 98% of the building’s 527 units are sold to buyers from around the world, with more than half of its residents hailing from within the domestic United States. The 736’ skyscraper, located at 1000 Brickell Plaza, currently stands as the tallest condominium in Miami.
Brickell Flatiron’s upper penthouse collection, located on floors 62 through 64 of the tower, includes expansive single-story, two-story duplex and three-story triplex residences measuring from 3,600 SF and up to 7,900 SF in size. The sales include a 7,856 SF 6 bedroom, 3-story triplex penthouse with a private pool for $13.2 million; a 5,453 SF 4 bedroom, 3-story triplex penthouse also with a private pool for $11.2 million; a 2,726 SF 4 bedroom penthouse for $2.32 million and a 3,626 SF 4 bedroom, 2-story duplex penthouse for $4.9 million. One developer-owned duplex penthouse unit remains available for purchase, which is now on the market for $9 million.
The record setter today is Panorama rental tower with 84 stories and 868 feet height, those are stright rentals from $2750 up to $9000 offered monthly . Then you have Four Seasons Miami condo-hotel with 789 feet height, built 2003 , then you got Southeast Financial Center built in 1984-office building and now you have all residential Flatiron with 734-736 ( one can argue) feet of height.
But , that might not be for too long , because the One Bayfront Plaza is approved for 1049 feet height ( mixed use) , Aston Martin residences is going vertical now and will top off at 69 stories of luxury mansions in the sky , 816 feet of height, Okan tower is suppose to start the construction this year and will be 902 feet with 70 stories of residences , hotel units and offices, but one and most peculiar contender is Waldorf Astoria at 300 Biscyane that will rise 1041 feet with hotel and reseidents units and 98 stories when built!!

Fisher Island developer Heinrich Von Hanau just got approved zoning changes to allow for a 57-unit, 10-story condominium building at 6 Fisher Island Drive and 12 single-family homes at 68 Fisher Island Drive. The developers said they are considering building live-work units in Allapattah, and plan to have co-working space in the lobby. The existing building is currently leased to retail tenants.
