640 NE 34th St, Miami, FL 33137
The tower would have 241 apartments. Aimco plans to build a 15,000 square foot public pedestrian plaza directly on the waterfront with open spaces on both sides. A restaurant will be located in front of the plaza.
To create the plaza, the developer intends to close the end of Northeast 34th Street. The street closure can be done administratively.
According to a filing with the Federal Aviation Administration, the tower will top off at 646 feet above ground, and 649 feet above sea level, which would make it the northernmost, 600-foot tower, within City of Miami limits.
